2 lakh 37 thousand 461 candidates have applied for the re-examination of the results of this year’s SSC and equivalent examinations without getting the desired results. They have challenged a total of 4 lakh 41 thousand 919 books. Of these, only 3,95,798 for SSC examination, 26,464 for submission, and 18,538 for SSC Vocational have been re-examined. The results of SSC and equivalent book re-examination will be released on June 30.
The books requesting re-examination are being added again. The boards are busy preparing the results of the re-examination. The results of SSC and equivalent re-examination will be released simultaneously on June 30.

After receiving the application for re-examination, out of 2 lakh 36 thousand 471 candidates, 56 thousand 690 candidates of Dhaka Board have applied for the re-examination of 1 lakh 47 thousand 280 books. Besides, 23,750 books of Barisal Board, 52,246 books of Chittagong Board, 39,303 books of Comilla Board, 40,065 books of Dinajpur Board, 34,275 books of Jessore Board, 31,331 books of Mymensingh Board, 44,04 books of Rajshahi Board. 61 books and 23,690 books of the Sylhet Board have been re-examined.
On May 31, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina announced the results of SSC and equivalent examinations through video conference. Education Minister was involved at the time. Dipu Moni and Deputy Minister of Education Mahibul Hasan Chowdhury Nawfel. Later, the education minister presented a detailed analysis of the results to the journalists.
In 2020, an average of 72.6 percent of students has passed the SSC and equivalent examinations. Last time the pass rate was 72.20 percent. The pass rate in SSC and equivalent examinations has increased this year. 1 lakh 35 thousand 698 students got GPA-5 this year. 1 lakh 5 thousand 594 people got GPA-5. Compared to last year, the number of students getting pass and GPA-5 has increased this year.
The pass rate in SSC in 9 general boards is 63.75 percent. Last year, the pass rate of 6 general education boards was 72.70 percent. 1 lakh 23 thousand 498 students got GPA-5 in SSC this year. Last year, 94,557 candidates got GPA-5 in SSC alone.
The pass rate in the entrance examination under the Madrasa Board is 72.51 percent. Last year, the pass rate was 63.03 percent. 6,026 candidates got GPA-5.
The pass rate in SSC and Dakhil Vocational is 72.60 percent. Last year it was 72.24 percent. 4 thousand 751 people got GPA five.
This year 20 lakh 46 thousand 699 candidates took part in the examination. Last year the number of candidates was 21 lakh, 35 thousand 333 people. 16 lakh 35 thousand 240 candidates from 18 thousand 462 schools entered this year’s SSC, 2 lakh 61 thousand 254 candidates from 9 thousand 110 madrasas, and 1 lakh 31 thousand 275 students from 2292 technical institutes took part in the SSC vocational examination.
